From standard pipe threads to special or proprietary thread profiles, we focus not only on machining the thread, but also on verifying that the finished connection meets the required dimensions and fit.

Manufacturing According to Different Thread Standards

Different markets, piping systems, and applications may require different thread types.

Depending on the valve design and customer specification, Anson Flow can manufacture threaded connections according to commonly used international standards, such as:

Thread Inspection Is Part of the Manufacturing Process

Producing a thread is only the first step.

After machining, the thread must also be checked to confirm that it meets the specified requirement.

Depending on the thread type and application, inspection may include:

·         Thread gauges

·         GO / NO-GO gauges

·         Dimensional inspection

·         Thread pitch verification

·         Fit-up inspection with mating components

·         Customer-specified inspection requirements

This helps reduce potential problems during installation, such as improper engagement, incompatible connections or difficulty assembling the valve with existing piping or equipment.

What If the Customer Uses a Special Thread?

Not every project uses a standard connection.

In replacement projects, OEM equipment, older machinery or specialized industrial systems, customers may encounter a thread that does not completely match a commonly available standard.

In these situations, Anson Flow can provide customized thread machining based on the customer's actual requirements.

Customers may provide:

1. Technical Drawings

If a drawing is available, we can review the specified thread dimensions, pitch, tolerances and connection details and manufacture accordingly.

2. Physical Samples

If no complete drawing is available, customers may also provide an existing sample.

Our engineering team can evaluate the sample dimensions and connection characteristics and reproduce the required thread based on the actual component.

This is particularly useful for replacement valves, OEM parts and discontinued or special equipment, where matching the existing connection can be more important than simply selecting a standard thread.
